It is good to eat vegetables raw as well. Foods that are still raw contain their vitamins and minerals in their most natural form. You may want to consume plenty of green leafy vegetables since these vegetables aide in digestion and relieve the adrenal glands of unnecessary stress.
You should also make protein an important aspect of an adrenal fatigue diet menu. This is important because protein gives you the energy that you need to make it through each day. Protein can be found in meats such as beef or veal. It can also be found in fish, fowl and eggs. If you prefer to stick with vegetables, protein can also be found in soy based foods as well as nuts and legumes. Examples of these foods include peanut butter, tofu, and tahini.
Be sure that you eliminate sugar from your diet. This includes sugar that is found in drinks as well as sweet foods such as cookies, cakes, and candy. Eat whole wheat and whole grain bread instead of white bread. Avoid any fried or fatty foods as well as any processed foods. Once you adapt your new adrenal fatigue diet menu, you will find that you feel much better and are better able to handle stress.
